Jeremy Kenedy

Jeremy is an amazing developer, and one of the most talented web engineers I've had the pleasure of working with. Jeremy brought his passion and expertise to Sq1, and helped our development team get to the next level.

His contributions as both a technical leader and mentor revolutionized client projects and the team members working under his leadership.

I worked with Jeremy at Rubicon International. He worked on a few different projects. One project was our main web application, which needed updates to the user interface.

Jeremy improved the styling and layout. We also needed a token authentication service for an API we built and he provided that for us in a timely manner. He provided good documentation for the service.

He was eager to find other ways to help with the projects.

While working for FocusVision Worldwide Inc I had the opportunity to work under Jeremy. Jeremy's approach to management was to act as our peer in most respects. He did all he could to advocate for his team members, whether it be to push educational opportunities like conferences, helping us set our yearly goals, or giving advice on how to handle various social issues within teams. Because of the mutual respect Jeremy inspired among his team members, we all wanted to work just a little bit harder for him.

Aside from his management chops, Jeremy is a coding machine. It only takes a quick glance at his github to see this guy is outputting an almost unbelievable amount of contributions to the open source community. Any team would be lucky to have Jeremy on it.

Jeremy is the manager we'd always needed in our office. His programming knowledge has been a huge benefit for our team! Jeremy has a great ability to not only get the job done very well, but to also teach all of the other developers with clarity and patience. Jeremy strives to support, and encourage, best practices across the board with whatever language or technology he works with; be it Laravel, vanilla PHP, SASS, JavaScript, etc.

Jeremy is always finding new ways to improve his work which, in turn, pushes all of us to improve ours. Jeremy came on board when the development team (and the company) was at its peak expansion. We were transitioning from a small agency to a national corporation and gaining more large-scale complex dev projects. We were in dire need of someone to help our systems and processes grow up to meet the demand of our projects.
